Snaiad Concept - Thickskull (Redone)

Neither the smallest nor the largest of the Pescidonts, the omnivorous Thickskull has garnered attention for the prominent, 'boney' extensions of their first heads, with which they engage one another in vicious bouts of head butting. These are far larger and denser in the males - and often marred with scars - for they are the ones who typically use these structures when it comes to guarding their territories from anything they may perceive to be a potential rival. However, because their vision is so poor, this can include things that wouldn't normally pose a threat to them, such as other Pescidont species, Heterostomes, and even humans! Needless to say, it is advised that one should avoid known habitats of these creatures, especially during the mating season, the time of year when the males are particularly agitated. 

The reproductive organs are kept safe from the rowdy behavior of the males by a protective, insulating fluid-like sac. They are also located deeper within the skull compared to that of other species of Pescidonts.
